CLASH OF THE TITANS: FLESH, MIND & SPIRIT part 2

I write today not because I have attained that height spiritually, but because I know that deep down I love God and that if I come to him he will in no wise cast me out. I write because I know in a generation like ours, the world is hard on us. Because I know that some of the challenges we struggle with, some of us didn’t choose for ourselves. I write because I know that even in all our struggles with sin and the issues in life we love God deep down. We are sometimes scared to come back to him in prayers because not only do we feel bad about hurting him over and over again but that we would leave the things we do with d world and are scared of how the world would then see us. We are scared of not being accepted. We are scared that the world would see right through us and all we really want to hide thereby living the life they see as acceptable. But it is time....it is time we cared less. It is time we ended relationships we entered to hide our past, it is time we broke that friendship we started because we wanted to
attain the world’s ranking as ‘cool’, it’s time we choose between passing an exam the way the world does it even when we are ill prepared or fail and exam in dignity owing to our lack of preparation and then prepare harder for the next, it’s time we chose once and for all who we truly serve, God or d devil and pick which songs to listen to, it’s time we sat down and looked at all the things we see as little and critically evaluated them and set things straight, it’s time we let go of the past and move on, let go of grudges and malice and embrace love and happiness, let go of strife and grief and accept forgiveness and joy, it’s time we truly laid aside all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and received with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save our soul- JAMES 1:21, it’s time we made our identity in Christ truly known - if we have one, it’s time we stopped playing church and truly get into church. It’s time we indeed re-dedicated our lives back to God and accepted Jesus into our lives as lord indeed and personal saviour and live daily with this consciousness. We don’t need to give our lives to Christ because he doesn’t need it, rather we need to accept him into our lives because he has been knocking for over 2000 years. I don’t need to pray with you because I need to myself stop typing and pray by myself for myself too so there is not going to be any prayer of repentance here. You go down on your knees wherever you are no matter who you are or how many years you have put into “Christianity”, and re-dedicate your life to God or accept him in your life if you have not done so ever before. You need to do this by yourself in your own word. If you have to cry, please do. Do whatever you have to do. Just say the prayer now. Jesus is waiting on you. Now is the time. Go now, be saved.
