CINEMA / EVENT CENTER OPENS IN BENIN-CITY TODAY
The ancient city of Benin is gradually meeting with civilization. Only God knows how long i have waited for this to happen in our ancient city.
Though we do not truly know who has ownership to this multi-million business venture, we are simply happy beyond words that alas, a decent cinema has arrived our city *no offence to the pre-existing ones*.

It is located along airport road, just beside hallmark. It is said to be officially opened for use today at about 10am this morning. So, be sure to check it out with friends and family this holiday. (until Benin people ruin the fun out of it... just saying).
UNIBEN: Medical Hostel extension?
And its a wrap. The hostel complex between medical hostel and food court (buka) has since been completed. from the look of things, this new hostel complex done by the NDDC seem to be able to house nothing less than a thousand student.
The question now is 'what students?'. There has been speculation on which students it is suppose to house. Some say it is the medical hostel extension, others say it is 'clinical students' hostel. Now, if it is the clinical students hostel, is it for just medicine and dental students or are nursing and medical laboratory science students included?
We can only truly know when the on-going ASUU strike is called off(topic for another day)
For now, all we can do is admire and wish whatever their plan is for the hostel, it can solve the accommodation issues of medical students(basic and pure).

BOKO HARAM threatens the U.S
...So I was at this eatery two days ago. Turned to the tv and Nigeria was the focus on CNN. To my surprise,a short video sent from the boko haram leader was airing. No mask, nothing.
Apparently, Nigeria is now too small and powerless to wage any form of war with, and are now looking at bigger territories to 'conquer' like the United States of America.
I can't wait to see what mess the U.S would make out of them. Its a good thing they are walking into their end by themselves.
